NAVRATRA ARRIVING!!!

This nine days festival is popularly known as NAVARATRA. During this occasion devotees pay to Durga,Annapurna, Bhadra Kali , Amba sarvamangla,bhairavi, chandika, lalita, bhavani and mookambika

Theses nine goddesses have again come to life at Agra’s ‘Kamakhya Mandir’. It is the only temple in the region having all the nine goddesses under on roof. Situated at Hathi ghaat near the Yamuna River, the temple although small in size, just cannot be missed.

Of marble and stone architecture, the temple attracts devotees in hordes.

And now with navratra approaching, the temple is now cynosure of all eyes again. The temple is dedicated to the nine goddess besides Hanuman and Kamakhya Devi.

The temple is being cleaned for the occasion and priests are gearing up for festivities just a few hours away.
